This week, Rasmus Wendelboe joins Digizuite as the Vice President of Sales for EMEA. From his foothold in Copenhagen, Rasmus is now leading the charge to establish Digizuite as an unparalleled sales function in his division.

“We have aggressive growth plans for our company in the coming years, and in order to hit those targets we need to be executing as a best-in-class sales team in all parts of the world,” Digizuite Chief Revenue Officer Dean Read said. “As we scale the EMEA team, Rasmus Wendelboe takes on the responsibility of partnering with all parts of the organization in execution of our ‘best-in-class’-driven global expansion plans.”

Immediately before assuming his role with Digizuite, Rasmus worked at the renowned international technology research and advisory firm, Gartner. Over the course of his five years there, he served in a variety of roles, ultimately ascending into sales management – as Area Sales Manager of New Business Development for the United Kingdom, Benelux, and the Nordics.

It was at Gartner that Rasmus developed a firm grasp on digital asset management and related technologies. Such deep understanding fuels his excitement about becoming a part of the Digizuite team.

“In my position at Gartner, I had access to insight and data that gave me a unique overview of the Nordic tech market and very few vendors have ever excited me as much as Digizuite,” he said. “The client reviews on their product and services are impressive and go hand-in-hand with how Digizuite has been able to compete with some of the largest tech providers in the world.”

Rasmus sees tremendous opportunity for DAM vendors, and he is ready to make sure that Digizuite is ready for it all.

“The DAM market is growing at a fast pace and is expected to be worth a total of six billion US dollars by 2025 due to the increase digitalization of content and the need for collaboration across departments and geographies,” Rasmus explained. “There is no reason that Digizuite can’t be a huge part of this phenomenon.”

Digital transformation is far from Rasmus’s only passion, though: he also has a humanitarian side. Before entering the realm of information technology, he served as the Coordination Manager for the non-profit organization, Samaritan’s Purse. In this role, he worked with the United Nations to provide food, shelter, and safety to Syrian war refugees at the Moria Refugee Camp in Greece.

Every member of the internationally scattered Digizuite team is thrilled to welcome a new addition with such a global perspective. Rasmus is equally excited about what lies ahead for him here at Digizuite.

“As opportune a time as it is for digital asset management technology, what amazed me the most and what is one of the biggest reasons for joining Digizuite is the culture and incredibly strong management team,” Rasmus said. “I’m ready to be part of Digizuite’s mission and to immerse myself in this adventure as VP of Sales for EMEA.”
