Welcoming Bart Basi as Digizuite's North American Director of Solution Architects

Digizuite is growing rapidly on a global scale, and as of March 1st, Bart Basi is the newest addition to the team as the North American Director of Solution Architects. In this role, Bart – a bona fide technical sales expert – will manage Digizuite’s technical sales function in North America. 

Throughout his sales engineering career, Bart has developed a passion for cultivating strong partnerships with customers. He sees every sale as a series of mutual victories for every party involved in the transaction.

“I see a sale being all about helping customers and partners to understand how to achieve a solution to their problem, which is central,” Bart said. “Software, along with its features and functions, are secondary to the business solution and the return on the investment to the business in both time and money. Solution engineering is teaching customers and partners how their business problems can be solved with the right technology, at the right time, in the right way.” 

As Digizuite’s North American Director of Solution Architects, Bart will bring this mindset to the entire sales organization.  

“Helping people to understand the power of a solution is at the core of who I am,” he said. “Over the course of my sales engineering career, I have accumulated experience mentoring teams in a consultative approach. I plan to do the same at Digizuite.” 

Bart comes to Digizuite directly from the robotic process automation software company Blue Prism, where he was a Senior Solution Engineer. In this capacity, he supported corporate sales, strategic sales, and partner sales.  

Prior to Prism, Bart rose through the ranks of OpenText – Canada’s largest software company and the umbrella provider of a variety of management software solutions – where he most recently served in the role of Senior Director of RedDot Americas, Open Text’s website management software business. In this position, he managed a team of sales representatives and sales engineers and oversaw partner relationships. It was also at RedDot that Bart played an integral role in closing the largest deal in OpenText history. 

During Bart’s early years as part of the RedDot/OpenText team, he reported to Digizuite’s very own Dean Read. 

“Several years ago, I managed a Sales Engineering team at RedDot, and Bart was one of our top performing Sales Engineers,” Dean, who is currently Digizuite’s CRO, said. “I always remember strong performers and am constantly looking for ways to join forces with them again. When this position opened, I immediately called Bart in hopes he would be open to a conversation.” 

Luckily for Dean – and the entire Digizuite team – Bart was open to that conversation.
